Why an Early Look Matters
Most neck lumps turn out to be benign. The reason to have one looked at promptly is that the small number which are not are far more treatable when found early, and there's no way to sort the two without an exam.
Treatment depends entirely on the diagnosis. Your surgeon will go through the findings, the options and the risks with you before anything is scheduled. Individual results vary.
